I’m so glad this isn’t a photo-blog. I’d be tempted to share the disaster area that is currently my house. I just found a quote (don’t even know the person who said it, but that’s beside the point) and had to share:
If your house is really a mess and a stranger comes to your door, greet him with, “Who could have done this? We have no enemies.”
Phyllis Diller
I know exactly what you mean. One time, our house was burglarized while my husband and I were at work. When the police came to investigate and search for fingerprints, etc., they assumed the house had been ransacked. Actually, the burglars made a VERY LITTLE mess and the rest of the disrepair was exactly as I had left it that morning. I like Phyllis Diller’s greeting…maybe I’ll try that next time!

That’s what ours looking like till I spent ALL DAY Saturday cleaning it. If only I could MAINTAIN the clean, I wouldn’t have to do those all-day binges…
Ah, maintenance. That’s always the trick, isn’t it?
I take comfort in the fact that despite what it seems, I still maintain the house. If my husband were soley responsible for that, I don’t think he’d MAINTAIN anything except a state of chaos. He he.
