Wyn Magazine was created to offer a healing place for women who have fallen apart, and those who do not yet realize they are broken. It provides them with the knowledge, empathy, and direction necessary to help them pursue healing and wholeness. Our ultimate goal is to help them leave the houses of healing to go nurture their own gardens.
[Nod to Eowyn and Lord of the Rings totally intentional.]
The name Wyn is from the Old English rune that later became “w.” The word “wyn” means “joy/delight/pleasure” in Old English. The goal of Wyn Magazine is to help bring joy to women who have lost hope.
The current state is a collection of a year’s worth of editions/articles, currently on hold as our general editor just had her fourth (then fifth) babies in somewhat rapid succession.
